The short version of the setup on an A6 card (105 × 148 mm), with a QR code to the full instructions on the back. Intended as a paper note in the product box.
The card prints at finished size on A6 paper. Two sheets in all: front and back.
Four identical cards per A4 sheet, two sheets in all. Cut along the dashed lines after printing.
Five steps, once. Afterwards the screen reads by itself — without app, account or internet.
Connect power
USB-C, or rear cable to the battery: red is plus, black is minus, 5–23 V. Always use a 1 A fuse.
Open settings and turn on WiFi
Keep your finger on the screen for one second. Swipe to the third page, NETWORK, and turn on “WiFi”. The pages have no numbers on the screen. The dots under the title show where you are, and the green one should be number three.
Connect the phone to the Voltvik-XXXX network
The network begins with Voltvik- and four uppercase characters, for example Voltvik-BE84. It is open and never asks for a password. If it does not appear immediately, wait 20 seconds.
Open 192.168.4.1 and choose language
The setup page often appears by itself. If not, type the address in the browser. The page starts in English: to pick another language choose Language, set for example Norsk and press Save language.
Press Add all found devices
Voltvik finds the equipment itself — hold the screen close to the equipment, not the phone. Then press Save at the bottom of each section.
